Family Photos

My friend, Kristi Shanks, has started doing photography professionally! She is so fun and did an excellent job. . .I had really been wanting some outdoor family photos! Plus, she has 3 children of her own, so she understands photographing little ones :) And what she ultimately wants to do with her photograpy skills is awesome. . you'll have to ask her when you set up an appt :) When she gets a website put up, I'll link to it. Hope you enjoy the pics she got of us yesterday! I asked if she could photoshop me to make me look skinnier, and GooF asked if she could photoshop him to give him more hair. . no such luck.

While she was photographing Ryan and I, she was holding Trey and our children were giving her bunny ears to make us laugh. . .which led to this photo. . .As we left the house for picture taking Ryan was making fun of the fact that we were going to the park in coordinating outfits. . no, we do not typically go to the park that way :) Just in case you wondered :)

I recently saw a picture frame with verses from Prov 31 on it. . then my mother-in-law sent me a card with verses from that chapter in the Bible. So, I find myself reading Prov 31 on this Mother's Day. Some verses that stick out to me are. . .

"She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life." OK, so "she gets up while it is still dark and provides food for her family" is NOT me. Hmm. . .will have to ponder the verse on idleness. "Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." "Clothed with strength and dignity." "She is worth far more than rubies."
