Valleyfair

Bumblebees. . .

Cars. . .

To celebrate our 8th Anniversary, we spent the day at Valleyfair!!!! With kids :) It was actually a REALLY FUN DAY! The kids were best buds. . .no one argued. . there was hardly any lines. . it was great weather. . .and tons of rides the kids could go on!!!! The Mild Thing rollercoaster was by far the favorite. . .they probably went around it close to 100 times. . .

They tried out both the front seat and the back seat. They'd raise their arms in the air until they got close to the top and then they'd hold on tight and wave. They had HUGE SMILES the whole time. . .LOVED. IT!!

The 2nd favorite was definitely the frog hopper. . .They rode it until they were so tired they just hung over the bar. . .Trey was very fond of the fishy ride. . .So was Porter until the worker told him how to get on and off using the stairs instead of just climbing in. . .we love you Porter. . .The Rockin Tugboat we could all ride on. . .

Our menu for the day consisted of Funnel Cake, Mini Donuts, and Cotton CandyTruckin along. . .Porter was thrilled that he got to drive Bumper Cars. . .

The kids just kept going on rides, even when they looked exhausted. . .Trey took a midday nap in the stroller, but the minute he woke up he wanted on another ride. . .

We spent the night in the "anniversary suite" at Jenny and Jeds. . .they even got us a Costco cake :) Thanks!I would highly recommend it (on a weekday)! Very fun way to spend the day as a family!Happy 8th Anniversary GooF! After all these years. . .we've still got it :) Oh, and did I mention we thought our DVD player was broken on the way home?! Thankfully, and miraculously, it began to work again.
