I love YOU

Porter's preschool class sang in church this morning, and he told me beforehand that when he sang the song with the words I love YOU, he was going to point at me, and point at me he did :) I did see him point towards Grampa and Grammy once though too :) I love YOU too Porter!

Muscles

I enjoyed watching high school wrestling on TV with my husband tonight. . .while the kids showed off their muscles. . .makes me excited for the many activities they will be involved in throughout the years. . .whatever they may be!

Bring on the Steak

Mom said, "Bring out the teethers!" Dad said, "Bring on the Steak!" We were so surprised and excited to see a tooth poking through at the young age of 4 months!! And now the second bottom tooth has poked through!!! I, of course, had to pull out the baby books. . .

Ainsley's 1st tooth. . .6.5 months!

Porter's 1st tooth. . .5 months!

Trey's 1st tooth. . .8 months!

Ryker 1st tooth. . .4 months!

Each child truly is uniquely created by their Heavenly Father! Just when we think we have discipline figured out, the next child needs to be trained differently. . .just when we get new clothes in one childs closet, the next child has grown. . .you get the picture :) They are amazingly different, but thankfully HE is always the same loving God!

Dedication Day

In front of God, our family, our church family, and our friends, we had the kids say ways in which they will help Ryker, as he grows, to know and love Jesus. Ainsley said, "I'll read Ryker Bible Stories." Porter said, "I'll teach him how to pray." Trey forgot what he was going to say at first, and then said, "I'll sing him Jesus loves me songs." :) Then, we read a verse that we had chosen for Ryker. . .Zeph 3:17 "The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with his love. He will rejoice over you with singing."

and then it was back to our house for a "taco bar" lunch, and time spent celebrating/thanking God for the gift of Ryker's life!

What a wonderful family day. . .7 hrs spent creating, exploring, experimenting, pretending, and PLAYING! And the kids wanted to go back the next day. . .

I'm happy to report that I don't have to end this post by saying Fought, Fought, we fought all night ;) But I'm sure they did Hop on Pop when we got home!
