Let's Play

My friend, Kara, that I met at MOPS, started a band that plays fun children's music. They call themselves, "Do Re, Let's Play!" Ryan had taken the kids to hear them last wk while I was at Bible Study, but I was so excited to get to hear them at the park this morning! Porter brought his lawnchair and scouted out a place in the shade to sit. He was very impressed that the band knew his name :) Ainsley loved all the songs and held her purple streamer the whole time :) Look at those BLUE SKIES!

Miss Ainsley had her 5 yr old physical/shots this wk! She finally made it over 40 lb, weighing in at 41.5 lb! She was in the 50th% for both height and weight. She did awesome! We had some tears during the shots, but nothing that a new barbie and shoe shopping with Grammy can't fix!We spent late afternoon at one of the many fun pools in town! The kids spent a lot of time in the sand area, where they got to mix up water and sand! And lots of time in the pool. . .so exciting when they can touch! Trey told us the water was, "too wet, too cold," which is what he says when he wets his pants also :)

And I always enjoy some time lounging in a beach chair, going down the big waterslide, eating pool snacks with Porter and taking silly pictures of ourselves.
